EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical qualifying background would include any combination of: graduation from high school or equivalent; completion of some college-level courses in bookkeeping or accounting; and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in performing payroll, financial or statistical record-keeping. Experience in a public agency is preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment, constant interruptions.

PROMOTIONAL AND OPEN TESTING – Open to employees of the District and the public with the selection process resulting in one (1) Eligibility List that will be used to fill current vacancies and any future vacancies that occur within one (1) year or until the list becomes exhausted. Current permanent employees of the District will be awarded seniority points as per the contract. All properly completed applications will be reviewed and the most highly qualified candidates will be invited to continue in the selection process. The process may consist of an evaluation and scoring of application materials, written testing, oral interview and/or performance test to evaluate the applicant’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies. The EdJoin system will time-out after a 20 minute period of perceived inactivity. Your responses to the supplemental questions are limited to 5,000 characters. A completed on-line application is required of all applicants to be considered for this opening.
