Job Summary
Under general supervision from management and/or the certificated credentialed school nurse, the Health Assistant II performs specialized health care procedures as needed for designated students in the classroom and other school areas; performs related duties as required. The duties of this classification include provisions of health care to students and performance of specialized health care. This classification requires a Nursing License certification (e.g. LVN or 2 year Registered Nurse). Incumbents are expected to provide first aid and life saving techniques to students without direct nursing supervision.
