Job Summary

Program Administrator will assist special education teachers with curriculum development, implementation, and instruction as needed; implement effective programs with designated instruction services for students with exceptional needs; provide innovative instructional approaches for students and parents; coordinate and assist as necessary in appropriate in-service training; monitor program effectiveness; assist professional and paraprofessional personnel in instructional strategies; monitor individual educational plans; attend local, county, state meetings as necessary; coordinate student placement and transportation for students with exceptional needs; evaluate special education personnel

QUALIFICATIONS • At least three years of successful experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred • Five years of successful teaching.
