Under the direction of the Advisor for LEA and School Support, the Project Assistant/Grant Manager provides administrative support by performing highly complex and responsible regional program coordination, administrative, supervisory and management duties, including budget management for the Far North Literacy Development Consortium Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant (CLSD). The Project Assistant/Grant Manager supports the technical assistance (TA) services (consulting, mentoring, coaching, professional development/trainings and brokering resources) provided to CLSD grant participants that receive grant funding for CLSD Grant Priority #5 in Butte, Shasta, Modoc and Plumas Counties. The Project Assistant/Grant Manger will work collaboratively with the Grant Director to build the capacity of CLSD grant participants to meet all grant requirements, stay in compliance and adhere to a continuous quality improvement approach to achieve high quality programs and services. The Project Assistant/Grant Manager will participate in all mandated CLSD meetings and contribute to the meetings as required. Duties will include designing, innovating, developing and delivering technical services and/or brokering resources as part of grants, projects, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Communities of Practice (CoPs), events and trainings sponsored and/or hosted by Far North Literacy Development Consortium.
