Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Visual Impairments or eligibility to be granted permit authorizing services to students with visual impairments. If credential expired, but eligible for renewal or extension, must provide written statement; OR 2. Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe, willingness to apply for a Special Education Limited Assignment Permit in Visually Impaired (VI) and enroll in classes to obtain VI authorization. 2. Letter from your University Internship office stating eligibility or University Internship credential with Special Education authorization applicable to the posted position; OR 3. Bachelor’s Degree in an academic subject area from an accredited University, meeting California Basic Education Skills requirement (CBEST) and a letter of intent uploaded in place of credential expressing interest in applying for this specific position, indicating the commitment to immediately enroll in a University credential program in the area of Special Education authorization applicable to the posted position.
