Job Summary

The Pandemic Case Manager will, under the general supervision of the Superintendent or designee and the District Covid Coordinator, perform a wide variety of specialized and responsible tasks associated with COVID19 Case record keeping. The Pandemic Case Manager will provide direction and follow systems and practices to disseminate information via email, phone call, or other direct means of communication while adhering to all applicable confidentiality requirements, local guidance, and Union Memorandums of Understandings.

Fingerprinting: In accordance with AB 1610 & 1612, Chapter 452 & 840, all employees must complete fingerprint background clearance through the California State Department of Justice prior to beginning work. TB Test: Before employment and beginning work for this District, you will be required to file evidence of having had a tuberculosis examination (Intra-dermal skin test) with a negative result. Medically verified positive skin test results require a chest xray. You will be responsible for the cost of this test. Work Authorization: As required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, all persons offered employment must provide the District with documents that established their identity and employment eligibility. New State Order: As of September 24, 2021, Geyserville Unified School District will be operating in compliance with California State Public Health Officer Order Regarding COVID Vaccine Verification for Workers in Schools. This Order requires verification of vaccination status among eligible K-12 school workers, and establishes diagnostic screening testing of unvaccinated workers to minimize the risk that they will transmit while on K-12 school campuses, where a majority of students are not vaccinated and younger students are not yet eligible for vaccines. As of September 24, 2021, the District will require all employees to submit proof of vaccination to the Human Resource staff (which will be kept confidentially) or report to HR for weekly surveillance testing until such time as 14 days have passed from a second COVID vaccination.
