Are you looking for a part-time job with benefits? Would you like to support students in the Santa Cruz City School District? Make a difference in kids’ lives! Under the direction of the Site Administrator or Director-Special Education, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups of students with special needs assigned to a Resource Specialist Program (RSP), Special Day Class (SDC) or general education classroom environment; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs); assist in the presentation and preparation of learning materials, lesson plans and instructional exercises; perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.

ESSA or NCLB must have: 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2. Two years of college (48 units) or 3. AA Degree (or higher) or 4. Pass a Paraeducator test. (Please contact SCCS if you would like to make an appointment to test the Paraeducator test.)

  • Resume
