The Speech Language Pathologist provides therapy services to children and their families, with an emphasis on speech/language development, feeding and oral motor skills. Opportunities to work out of our Burlingame, Redwood City or Palo Alto/Sunnyvale locations!

ABOUT THE ROLE:
• Facilitate group and individual developmental sessions
• Provide case management
• Conduct assessments and write reports
• Provide parent education and support
• Conduct home based and clinic based therapy sessions.
• Participate in provision of each child’s IFSP, IEP, or treatment plan through interagency collaboration
• Oversee children's integration into the community adhering to program objectives while maintaining a safe environment
• Comply with children’s rights, AbilityPath and program policies, CARF standards, NPS compliance, CCL regulations, CAL-OSHA, quality assurance standards, etc.
• Must act as a Mandated Reporter, and responsible to report any known or suspected adult/child abuse
• Must comply with applicable federal, state and local regulations and laws
• Excellent understanding of typical/atypical development in children ages 0 – 22 years old
• Ability to represent students and families in IFSP and IEP meetings and develop educational goals for children
