This exempt position is responsible for advancing the mission of the school by serving as a positive, balanced and knowledgeable role model of Christian faith to students in grades 5--8, as well as possessing the ability to implement effective pedagogical practices that capture the imaginations of learners of various abilities and styles. The ideal candidates will: • Possess a current California teaching credential and/or master’s degree or be working toward same; • Possess prior experience in physical education, coaching, or related instructional areas • Possess a passion for his/her subject matter and is a lifelong learner • Possess interpersonal and communication skills marked by the virtues of integrity and respect.
