St. John the Baptist Catholic School (SJS) is a vibrant Roman Catholic Community of faith that is rich in the traditions of our faith and of our one-hundred and fifty year old Parish. SJS is dedicated to the work of Christ while providing each individual with the opportunity to achieve academic excellence and make a positive contribution in the world. Together teachers and parents collaborate to form boys and girls through faith and reason into adults with a capacity to learn truthfully, live faithfully, and love charitably. The position will thus report to the church Pastor, the school Principal, and the school finance council. The Bookkeeper implements the SJS mission and philosophy, to follow the policies of the Diocese of Santa Rosa handbooks, the staff and parent handbooks of St. John the Baptist Catholic School, and adheres to the directives set by school administration.
