Job Summary
Math Tutors are needed at PRHS. 3 part-time positions available PRHS Tutors work during the established instructional class time to provide assistance to students in the areas of mathematics. Tutors work with identified groups of PRHS students and use the tutorial process to help them develop a deeper understanding of the curriculum. Tutors communicate with the teachers to provide feedback, small group, and individualized support during the class period

*College student or successfully demonstrated experience in mathematics *Requires knowledge of (high school level) core content in the areas of: o Mathematics • Effectively communicate and collaborate with students and teachers • Provide students with deeper understanding of core content areas. • Establish positive working relationships with teachers and students • Arrive at the scheduled time and consistently attend class • Modify support, based feedback from the teacher or site coordinator
