Job Summary
Paraeducator - Special Ed Several positions available at various sites. Under the direction of the Special Education Director and site administrator, the Special Education Paraeducator assists a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of Special Education students; assists in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP’S); provides routine clerical support. Other duties will be commensurate with demonstrated ability, training, education and experience.

* High School Diploma or equivalent (required) * 48 (or more) college semester units OR certification of passing the District Paraeducator Exam OR possesses a Certificate of Proficiency examination in compliance with Education Code and No Child Left Behind Act. (required) * Experience working with children with Special Education needs (preferred) **PLEASE NOTE: District Exam is given every Thursday at 1 at the PRJUSD District Office; 800 Niblick Rd, Paso Robles OR you may take the NCLB test at SLOCOE, 3350 Education Dr., San Luis Obispo, 93405 at 9 am EVERY Thursday! No Appointment Needed.
