Representative Duties: 1. Teach subject area according to state curriculum standards. 2. Work collaboratively with a team of four other faculty members. 3. Implement curriculum and deliver instruction in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of New Designs Charter School. 4. Participates in professional development and pursue further education in the academic discipline being taught. 5. Follows all rules, regulations and guidelines as provided for in the school's charter and other policy documents. 6. Maintain discipline in the classroom and during any school activity. 7. Provide a nurturing environment for all students to succeed. 8. Perform any other functions as may be assigned by the principal as specified in the employment contract.
