Job Summary
Under direction of the Principal or designee, the Custodian performs custodial and related work as required on the school campus. The job includes maintaining a sanitary, safe, secure, and attractive learning and working environment; providing adequate arrangements for meetings, classroom activities and events; and assisting with Maintenance and Operations as needed.

Comments and Other Information
Knowledge of modern cleaning methods and use and care of cleaning materials and equipment; requirements for maintaining school buildings and grounds in a safe, clean and orderly condition; basic methods and procedures in general building and grounds maintenance.
Ability to use cleaning materials and equipment with skill and efficiency; perform physical labor; understand and carry out oral and written directions; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; use mechanical tools to perform minor repairs and adjustments. High school diploma.
