Substitute Teachers serve as day-to-day substitutes to provide continuity of daily education to high school students during their regular teacher’s absence. Services are on an on-call, as needed basis.

          DESCRIPTION: Substitute teachers are expected to take attendance and implement the lesson plans for the class to which they are assigned. Like regular classroom teachers, substitute teachers are expected to be standing outside of the classroom during passing periods to greet students and make sure hallways are clear. Maintain normal classroom routines and discipline procedures. Complete an assignment report for the teacher regarding what was accomplished in class, a description of problems that may have occurred and resolutions to said problems.
