About the Employer

Nestled in pines and cedars, Alta-Dutch Flat School District is located in rural Placer County thirty miles east of Auburn on I-80. The surrounding foothills offer an abundance of recreational activities and one of the most pleasant climates in the country. Composed of one beautiful school which serve students from transitional kindergarten to 8th grade, some of whom are inter-district transfers from neighboring districts. Classrooms surround a central courtyard, with access to a library, science lab, computer lab, gym/cafeteria, track, and large playground. Highly-qualified teachers lead the instruction within each classroom, and because of the unique dynamics of the small school environment, even the administration will serve as teaching staff and push in to the classroom in a variety of ways, from observation to small group instruction.
