Job Summary
The Staff Accountant position at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) is an integral team member of the Business Office. This position is responsible for all accounting functions ensuring accurate and timely financial information. Creates financial transactions that includes posting information to accounting journals, worksheets, and accounting software systems. Responsible for preparing analytical accounting work ensuring accurate general ledger and reconciliation of accounts. The senior accountant manages all aspects of accounts receivable management including but not limited to tuition and reconciling accounts. The Staff Accountant will be cross trained in all areas relating to GL, AP, AR and Payroll and serves as a part of the Business Office Team that serves as a resource to all other departments and constituents of the schools.
