Under the direction of the Principal and Senior Cook, the Cafeteria Assistant performs a variety of kitchen tasks involved in meal preparation, as well as keeping kitchen areas and equipment in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition.

Requires knowledge of California Health and Safety Codes authorizing the incumbent to work in food service. Safe-Serve or equivalent certification is required.
