Job Summary
The substitute teacher will direct the classroom by following outlined lessons in the absence of the classroom’s regular teacher. Successful candidates will have previous classroom teaching experience. The ideal candidate wholeheartedly believes in and is passionate about the mission and commitments of Pathways to College and exhibits this through their development, reflection, execution of school culture, implementation of student rigor and proven results of student success. Candidates will be resilient, hard-working, team-oriented, and willing to do whatever it takes to support our students closing the achievement gap impacted by poverty and race.

Must meet the minimum requirements: > Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit or CTC Teaching Credential > Current CPR/First Aid Certification > Clear TB Test Results Candidates who apply without meeting the minimum requirements will not be considered.

In accordance with the State Public Health Officer Order of August 11, 2021, facilities must be in full compliance with ensuring staff are either:
A) be fully vaccinated by October 15, 2021
or
B) staff not-fully vaccinated must complete weekly COVID-19 testing.
You may attach a copy of your vaccination card with your application. If you are not fully vaccinated, you will complete weekly COVID testing.
