**Please review the job advertisement located under "Links Related To This Job" at the bottom of posting.** The job of Director, Maintenance/Operations/Transportation is done for the purpose/s of ensuring that department work goals are met; planning, coordinating and directing the maintenance, custodial, groundskeeping and transportation operations of the school district; coordinating and participating in the design and application of engineering plans and specifications to the construction and maintenance of district structures; planning and directing security and safety programs; conducting the maintenance bidding process and administering construction contracts; and ensuring optimal utilization of personnel and other resources.
