Job Summary

We're excited to launch this recruitment for our new position, Health Data Analyst. This position is responsible for the collection and analysis of data addressing disease infection, control, and prevention in our schools. You will be supporting our local health department in discovering trends and anomalies in the data you collect. Our ideal candidate has a strong analytical background preferably in the medical field. This is a grant-funded position through a partnership with Nevada County Public Health. The grant is currently funded through November 2022, with a possible renewal of funding after that.

A combination of training and experience, which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities, may be qualifying. We reserve the right to determine if a candidate meets the qualifications. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: - At least two (2) years’ experience working in a progressively responsible analytical role; preferably in the medical field. - Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in health science or other closely related field. Two (2) additional years of relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of college degree. - Healthcare or research background desired.
