The Southern Humboldt Unified School District wishes to announce a probationary opening for a Career Technical Education (CTE) Special Project Technician at South Fork High School. The position will be 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to speak effectively in the course of assigned duties. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percents and to draw and interpret bar graphs. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • Ability to use independent judgment and discretion. • Completion of 12th grade or equivalent with courses in office practices. • Ability to attend CPR and First Aid training
