Bookkeeper Job Description Hours: 32 per week Position Title: Academy and Preschool Bookkeeper FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Principal Bookkeeping and Accounting Proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Financial Transactions Assist with budget development and entry into Quickbooks Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll Demonstrate communication skills, verbal and written Demonstrate human relation and interpersonal skills Oversee the financial aspects of school fundraisers as necessary Ensure compliance with diocesan financial controls and policies Human Resources Conduct employee onboarding and termination protocols Maintain employee files with required documentation Employee liaison for benefit management Prepare and submit substitute teacher documentation Tuition Management through FACTS Monitor tuition payments Tuition assistance program Daycare Billing Invoice families at the end of each month Purchasing Order all classroom and office supplies throughout the year Plant Manager Purchase maintenance supplies Scheduling repairs Secure bids for projects Requirements 2-3 years bookkeeping experience Associate Degree in finance or accounting Diocesan experience preferred
