Benefits: Health benefit for the employee and family Annual Vacation: 15 days + most of the national holidays + 10 sick/personal days Starting Date: Sep 1, 2021 (or earlier) Job Summary We are looking for passionate math instructors to teach Online Math courses/camps to train students for math competitions, such as MathCounts and American Mathematics Competition sequence (AMC 8/10/12/AIME), using AlphaStar Academy curriculum. Job Duties Include Teaching Online year-round courses on weekends and weekday afternoons/evenings during the academic year. Teaching at Online Summer and Winter camps Math Documentation: Writing/editing problems, solutions, lecture notes, exams etc. Other Duties include helping with math event organizations (remotely). The following is required: Bachelor’s degree (in Math or Math Education or related field is a big plus) Experience in participating or coaching Math Competitions Teaching/tutoring/coaching experience Enjoy problem-solving and teaching Can communicate well with colleagues, parents, and students Can work well in a team Proficiency in English (for international applicants) Experience in writing lecture notes, problems, exams is a plus
