Job Summary

As part of a large and collaborative team, the Program Manager, Prevention Supports and Services is responsible for supporting training and technical assistance for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) at all levels of intervention through the Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) programs, contracted school district partners, and other young person serving institutions. This position will also support activities including training and supporting the implementation of mental health, crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention practices within a Multi-tiered System of Support. This is a classified management position.

The ideal candidate will have: • Experience with providing mental health, social emotional learning, and/or wellness support in schools (BBS licensure not required) • Experience providing professional development opportunities for adult learners • Knowledge and experience in the development of MTSS and/or PBIS • Background and training in counseling and/or mental health practices • Background and training in positive behavioral supports • Background and training in engaging schools/educators in improving and enhancing equity in school climate and discipline • An unwavering commitment to supporting positive outcomes for all students
