Description
Sol Aureus College Preparatory is committed to high student achievement and teaching excellence. The expectation is that all of our students will graduate from 8th grade performing at or above grade level in all subject areas, particularly reading, writing, and math. As stated in the mission, we also expect all of our students to be prepared to compete and be successful in college and life. Substitute teachers are expected to be on duty for the entire assignment and to perform all dutites of the regular teacher, and other duties assigned. 

Responsibilities
• Arrive at 7:30 am to prepare for the day (school day - 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Mon.- Fri.).

• Manage students in a classroom and follow classroom teacher's lesson plans. 

Qualifications
• Teacher certification in a content area of the desired position

• Professional attitude

• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults

• Flexible, organized, and punctual, reliable, and a team player

Requirements
• BA degree & Valid Teaching Credential
