Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the Director of Operations, the Supervisor of Transportation assists in the planning, organization and supervision of the District transportation system; prepares and administers budgets; evaluates and trains personnel; and performs related work as required.

Education/Experience: 1. Any combination equivalent to the completion of high school. 2. Three (3) years of experience in driver/mechanic supervision. 3. One-year supervisorial experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates: 1. Valid California Operator's License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. 2. Valid unrestricted Type I School Bus Operator's Certificate, preferred. 3. Current CPR Certificate. 4. Current Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate. 5. Valid medical certificate. Full time position includes district paid health, dental, and vision insurance benefits up to a $12,700 district contribution.
