Job Summary

The Sequoia Union High School District is seeking a dynamic educational leader to serve as the principal of Woodside High School. Woodside High School, with an enrollment of 1,800 Wildcats in grades 9 through 12, is one of four comprehensive high schools in the Sequoia Union High School District and serves a diverse suburban community of Redwood City and surrounding towns. Woodside welcomes students from an average of 19 different feeder schools each year, and the range of public and private middle schools reflects diverse ethnicities, languages, and socioeconomic status. With the mission statement of All Students Can and Will Learn, Woodside High School focuses on demonstrated excellence in the three A's: academics, athletics, and activities. Woodside High School is a Quaglia Institute demonstration school and has embraced the aspirations framework for the 8 Conditions of Student Success since 2010. Academically, 66% of Woodside seniors earn UC-CSU eligibility, and 90% of its graduates attend either a four-year college (45%) or continue their education journey at a local community college (45%).
