The El Dorado County Office of Education is seeking an experienced Registrar to join the team in Charter Alternative Programs. Under the direction of the Executive Director or designee, this distinctive position supports four unique Charter programs which provide a variety of educational models to support and encourage student success while maintaining a safe and welcoming school-wide culture. Using the highest standards in customer service, the Registrar conveys ongoing academic progress and status toward graduation to families, districts, and other program staff. Some of our programs serve students who are experiencing difficulty meeting behavioral, social, and academic standards. The Registrar may work with outside agencies, districts, law enforcement, and CPS in ways that best support the students and families. The successful candidate must possess a variety of strong skills including attention to detail; accuracy; ability to multi-task; timely maintenance of files, documents and student records; interpret and evaluate transcripts; transfer grades and semester credits; and work within a framework of policies and procedures and auditors to ensure student data is accurate and in compliance with legal, state and federal reporting and requirements. 5% stipend for Spanish/English bilingual with demonstrated proof of proficiency

Qualifications: - Experience: Two years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience including office and/or project management. - Education: Education at a level to demonstrate the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
