Job Summary
The Site Instructional Specialist serves as a resource to the school program where assigned. As a coach/teacher practitioner, the Instructional Specialist facilitates teachers’ learning through shared inquiry and professional experiences. The Instructional Specialist will provide ongoing coaching and instructional support to teachers. He/she will work under the direction of the school principal(s). The Instructional Specialist is responsible for coaching teachers on delivery of instruction as a teacher practitioner in a lab classroom or as a coach.

possession of a valid California teaching credential *possession of a valid California BCLAD *ability to read, write, and speak fluently in Spanish * three successful years of teaching or counseling experience * successful experience working with teachers * demonstration of commitment to professional learning and collaboration
