OCEAA is looking for a talented, passionate School Director to join and lead our team that: -Manages the academic program by setting goals and monitoring progress towards charter and LCAP-identified student outcomes. -Establishes and maintains a safe and positive school climate conducive to student-centered and culturally responsive teaching and learning. -Leads staff delivery of high quality, curriculum, instruction, intervention and assessment. Duties of this position include but are not limited to: School Mission - Leads and coordinates academic initiatives focused on the school’s mission and goals. -Sets equity-centered goals and policies with OCEAA’s Board of Directors that align with OCEAA’s charter petition and LCAP. School Climate - Leads, establishes and maintains a safe and positive school climate that engages students, teachers and parents in a spirit of Crew. Instructional Program - Ensures delivery of a high-quality dual language academic program through material development, professional support and coaching. -Works with the business office to monitor academic budget and ensure it is aligned with overall budget. Certificated Staff Supervision - Completes mid-year and annual evaluations for OCEAA program specialists, Special Education team and classroom teachers with input from specialists. Communication and Public Relations – Collaborates with staff and stakeholders to establish and maintain effective communication and positive school image. Continuous Improvement - Supports Instructional Professional growth of Teachers and Specialists. Facilitation -Models effective listening and positive interaction skills. -Considers different perspectives, alternative options and consequences of each in making decisions. -Uses appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to guide individuals and groups to task accomplishment.

An instructional leader committed to educational excellence with a demonstrated ability to use data to develop and meet program goals. -Bilingual skills in English and Spanish required. -Knowledge of dual immersion instruction required. -4+ years of related teaching experience. -2+ years of Administrative experience at the minimum. -5-7 years of supervisory experience of teams larger than 7-10 direct reports. -Excellent communication and organizational skills. -Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university. -A valid California Administrative Credential preferred. -Expertise in math and literacy curriculum and instruction, arts and technology integration preferred -Experience in a charter school setting preferred.
