Job Summary

Plans, manages, schedules, and coordinates the general and special education, and activity trips for a consortium of local school districts. Integrates scheduled routes and home-to-school site or service center trips to optimize student safety and contact with teachers and support services.

The position typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis in logistics or equivalent and three years of experience with developing routes and supervising schedules and service delivery preferably in a pupil transportation setting. Additional progressively responsible experience in routing, scheduling, training, and supervision of same will substitute for some post-secondary education. Requires a valid driver's license. A California Special Driving Certificate for School Bus Operation and a California Department of Education School Transportation Driver Instructor Certificate are desirable.
