The Governing Board of Latrobe School District is seeking a Superintendent/Principal to lead their K-8 elementary schools. The Board is committed to selecting a progressive instructional leader who has the skill and vision to prepare students with 21st Century skills and abilities. Individuals with a wide range of experience and knowledge with children from early childhood through adolescence are invited to apply. Purpose Statement: The Superintendent serves as executive officer of the Governing Board; assists in the development of educational philosophy and determination of District policies; provides overall educational leadership for the District in assessing needs, developing goals and objectives, setting priorities, securing and deploying resources, and evaluating programs; promotes and encourages maximum educational opportunities for District students. The Principal of Latrobe Elementary and Miller’s Hill School serves as the educational leader and chief executive of both schools; is responsible for direction of the instructional program, operation of the schools, participates in staff activities, student activities, and community leadership. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution - Valid California administrative credential. - Administrative and site management experience required. - Master’s degree desirable. Please include the following with a completed application:
