The Director of Human Resources is a cabinet level position reporting to the Superintendent, serves as the lead negotiator; responsible for employer-employee relations; serves as the Superintendent's designee in absence of the Supt.; responsible for implementation of Board Policies related to Personnel (4000); UCP Compliance Officer; Title IX Compliance Officer; maintains and updates web page, personnel wellness committee, personnel newsletters, benefits and salary schedules; responsible for recruitment, retention, evaluation, position control and other HR functions.

The diverse family community of 26,000 enjoys beautiful parks, a downtown green, easy access to the Russian River, Sonoma Coast State Parks, Lake Sonoma, and world renowned wineries. The District pays 77 - 82% of the major medical plan selected by our Administrator, the District pays 100% of the vision and dental for employee and family, and 100% for life insurance for employee. We pay a $1000 annual stipend for MA and PhD, $800 annual stipend for demonstrated bilingual skills
