Must be fluent in signing skills. Posess knowledge of Cochlear Implants. Ability to collaborate with other professional staff which includes but is not limited to, administrator, instrucitonal aides, psychologists, speech therapists, nurse.

Upon offer of employment, official transcripts showing evidence of a BA degree must be provided. Submitted applications will be screened and those most qualified will be invited to an interview.

      Responsibilities Include: Home Visits with families who have children 0-3 who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing Case Management Assessments Center-Based Instruction Sign Language Instruction Team-Player on Transdisciplinary Early Start Team Writing and Implementing Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) Collaborating with families and other service providers for young children Non-Discrimination Policy: West Contra Costa Unified School District programs, activities, and practices shall be free from discrimination, intimidation, harassment, and bullying based on actual or perceived race, color, ancestry, national origin, ethnic group identification, age, religion, marital, parental or family status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or gender expression; or on the basis of a person’s association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics.
