Are you looking for a part-time job? Are you interested in working with children of all ages? Then Santa Cruz City Schools has the job for you! Job Summary: Under the direction of the Site Administrator, reinforce instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom or assigned learning environment; tutor students in specific areas of reading intervention, language, math and possibly in conjunction with a computer based tutorial program; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.

Training and Experience: Any combination of experience and training which would indicate possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed herein. Completion of the 12th grade or equivalent; two years’ experience working with students; college course work in psychology, child growth and development or education may be substituted for experience. ESSA (or NCLB) Compliance: Must either provide copies of an AA Degree or higher, or have equivalence of two years’ college completion or pass Paraprofessional Exam (provided by district). Please attached unofficial copy of transcripts or copy of degree.
