Job Summary
The Board of Trustees of the Maricopa Unified School District is seeking a Superintendent/Campus Administrator with strong school district and community leadership skills who is committed to academic excellence and social-emotional support for all students. The superintendent of the Maricopa Unified School District shall serve as the educational leader and chief administrator for the district. The ideal candidate will be a visionary, results driven leader who will continue leading the district to an academically exceptional future upon the retirement of the current superintendent after ten years in the district.

Education: Administrative Services credential. Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Experience: Minimum of five years elementary/secondary teaching experience. Minimum of three years school site and/or district level administrative experience is required. Current or recent experience serving as a superintendent is desired.
