CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING. REQUIREMENTS: Pass the District Clerical Test and any combination of written, oral, and performance tests which may be administered to secure the best qualified applicants. Submit with the application a typing certificate for 45 net/corrected words per minute, typed during a 5-minute timed test from an accredited school or agency. Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade. Minimum of two years of experience in career guidance or related field desirable. Two years of college and/or Career Development Paraprofessional Certificate desirable. The Division of Human Resources requires a typing certificate from an accredited school or agency, dated no earlier than twenty-four (24) months before the opening date listed on the job posting on EdJoin. The typing certificate must be attached to the EdJoin application. Human Resources will not accept online certificates or e-mailed test results from typing websites.
