These are temporary positions through the end of the 20/21 school year. There are 6 positions available: Descanso Elementary - 1; Clover Flat Elementary - 1; Campo Elementary - 2; Potrero Elementary - 2.

Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements / Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent; two years of higher education/Associate’s Degree or higher relating to education, or passage of a district academic assessment test; one year experience or work involving contact with children, preferably including knowledge of subject matter taught in the classroom.

          Comments and Other Information

          Assists teacher in providing services to students; work with groups of students as directed. Relieves teacher of routine clerical and authorized instructional duties; other related work as assigned. Must be physically able to bend, stoop, lift and assist students in emergency situations The district is located along Interstate 8, in the southeastern mountains of San Diego County, approximately 50 miles east of the city of San Diego. ANY OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT IS SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK ($71.00 payable by applicant), A PRE-PLACEMENT MEDICAL EXAMINATION, INCLUDING DRUG SCREENING (at District expense), AND A NEGATIVE TUBERCULOSIS TEST.
