Qualified applicants should posses skills in listening; oral expression and writing skills; an ability to respond to constructive criticism professionally; an ability to work with children, peers, parents, and school or agency personnel; a willingness to go beyond basic requirements; flexibility in adapting to change; observance of protocol and rules; responsivity to professional ethics. General Responsibilities -Work in conjunction with school psychologist, specialists and teachers to conduct special education assessments -Attend IEP meetings -Participate in the SST and RtI process -Provide counseling services to special education students -Plan, assess, and attend staff development for the design and monitoring of behavior support plans
