Job Summary

The Administrative Coordinator reports directly to the CEO and COO. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for coordination of all administrative duties at the JMCS administrative office including processing of transcript requests, graduate packets, organizing JMCS Board meetings, acting as filing officer for Form 700’s, assisting with in-service planning, handling bank deposits, managing SafeSchools accounts for all staff, and general administrative support.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: High school graduate minimum with some college, preferred Experience working in an office environment Experience working with little or no supervision Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and scheduling Extensive experience with Google products Ability to read, write and edit extensively Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrated excellent organizational skills Compensation: The position of Administrative Coordinator falls under the category of Coordinator on the John Muir Charter Schools at-will classified pay schedule. Salary is based on experience and aligned with the coordinator line of the approved JMCS at-will salary schedule including full medical, dental and vision benefits. JMCS staff accrue 96 hours of sick time annually and a minimum of 120 vacation hours. JMCS Staff are enrolled in and contribute to the state employee retirement system (PERS for classified employees).
