Job Summary
Presentation Parish School has an opening for a full-time intermediate grade teacher to join our roster of experienced, motivated and effective teaching professionals. The successful candidate will assume a classroom of up to 30 students (based on enrollment) on line and in the classroom. We strive in every way to create an inspiring, faithful and enriching atmosphere both for our students and our personnel.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree, California Teaching Credential, Teaching Experience • 2+ years’ experience teaching intermediate grade classes, desirable • MUST have strong knowledge of Catholic faith, curriculum, and liturgies, especially in the sacraments of penance and first Eucharist • Must have strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency and solid experience with online platforms (such as Zoom and Google Classroom) is required. • Must possess a strong work ethic. Some late evenings and weekends will be required. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Must be extremely detail oriented, creative, resourceful and organized.

• Prepare lessons based on the California Common Core State Standards and Diocese of Stockton Religion Standards in a hybrid learning environment
• Classroom management skills combined with instructional techniques are a must to increase student progress toward objectives and optimize student learning.
• Responsible for implementing curriculum as well as overall classroom and playground supervision.
• Promotion, implementation and evaluation.
• Assist with volunteer committees, implement and attend external fundraisers and events.
