Job Summary
Job Summary
Voyager is a Therapeutic Learning Center (TLC) program designed to meet the emotional, behavioral, and educational needs of students whose learning is significantly impacted by their social-emotional needs. Behavioral and therapeutic services are embedded within the classroom, and is supported with a collaborative team. Paraeducators work to support academic and therapeutic needs in special education and general education classes.
Requirements / Qualifications
Requires the equivalent of a high school diploma and 45 hours of college transfer courses, plus one year of experience working with students in a classroom environment. Successful completion of a rigorous competency exam and certification may substitute for college transfer courses. Experience working with community based instruction for young adults is preferred.
