Under the direction of the full service community school director, the coordinator works collaboratively with the principal, school leadership team, teachers, and families to improve children's academic achievement, strengthen family functioning, increase family involvement in their children's education and communities, and make the school a welcoming place. NOTE: Coordinator to be placed at Semitropic Elementary School

REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent OR AA Degree Bilingual: Spanish Possession of valid CA drivers license
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: Bilingual: Spanish speaking preferred Knowledge of the public education system in California Must be comfortable with the use of data to make decisions Ability to communicate effectively Excellent time management and organizational skills

200 days per school year, August - June
Pre-Employment Physical, Tuberculosis Clearance and Fingerprint Clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice are conditions of appointment after all other required job requirements have been met.
