Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of successful high school/college coaching experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of coaching theory and techniques, child psychology, rules and regulations, athletic injuries, and emergency care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Upon hire, the successful applicant will need to obtain:
- Coaching Certificates (Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussions and Sudden Cardiac Arrest).
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certifications
- Must possess a valid California driver's license.

- Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport and possess substantial knowledge in the technical aspects of the sport.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work in collaboration with Principal, Athletic Director, other coaches, school staff members, business and community partners, and booster club.
- Thorough knowledge of CIF bylaws, league rules, and academic eligibility.
- Proven leader on the field and in the community who can inspire lea character-based education via participation in athletics.
- Strong management, organizational and relationship building skills.
- Ability to develop implement appropriate game and practice plans.
- Experience formulating and operating a fiscally sound budget including fundraising activities
- Ability to implement appropriate out of season activities for the sport.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate young athletes to achieve academic and athletic performance.
