Marketing and Development Specialist
Days/Time: Full time/part time depending on experience
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt –
Supervised by: Sister Eva Lujano
Primary Responsibilities:
? School - Marketing
? Photograph school events
? Provide marketing and recruitment support
? Provide training and coordinate Parent Ambassador program
? Assist Site Principal in the creation and support various site-based Marketing and Recruitment Committees
? Organize and coordinate Marketing and Recruitment events
? Open House **(virtual/on-campus)
? Parish and Community Events
? Parish CCD programs
? Catholic School Week
? Family Masses **
? Online platforms
? Maintain :Facebook. Twitter and Instagram Accounts current (or any new social media)
? Google Analytics
? Social Media Ads
? Facebook events
? Proficient with Mailchimp
? Design flyers and/or invitations for School events both for print and online
? Create Parish Bulletin inserts
? Download pictures into appropriate Google Drive
Student Recruitment:
? Provide responses to email inquiries and correspondences for prospective families
? First point of contact for prospective families
? Maintain inquiry logs of prospective families for follow-up.
? Conduct School Tours
Development
? Alumni relations: Create alumni base for both online and mailing development purposes. Coordinate Alumni events.
? Coordinate Development/Fundraising Community events
? Participation and assistance at Blessing our Future “Kick off Weekends”**
? Representation at Parishes
? Distribution of materials
? Answer questions
? Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
? Knowledge/experience in the field of education preferred
? Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher (data base and
financial program)
? Proficient in Social Media Marketing and Analytics
? Proficient Digital Photography & Video
? Proficient with Graphic Design Programs (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
? Proficient with CRM software
? Thorough knowledge and familiarity with the organizational structure and practices of the Roman Catholic Church
? Friendly with excellent people skills
? Bilingual preferred
Education and Experience
? Two years’ experience with office and general marketing procedures preferred
**These events will require weekend presence. Specific dates and times TBA.
