The Mark Twain Union Elementary School District serves students from grades Tk-8th in the historic communities of Angels Camp, and Copperopolis in Calaveras County. Angels Camp is home to “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County” made famous by Mark Twain in 1865 and is host of the Annual Jumping Frog Jubilee celebration since 1893. During the Civil War, the town of Copperopolis is known for supplying troops with Copper which was discovered there in 1860. 3 Current Letters of Recommendation/Reference Resume Letter of Interest Applicants must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment physical, and be able to show they are clear of TB. Position is 3.0-7.0 hours/day, hours to be determined by Administration. This position is in the Mark Twain Chapter #815 of the CSEA Bargaining Unit. .
