Under supervision of the Superintendent, or designee, maintain overall responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of the maintenance, operations and transportation program of the district. • Maintain overall responsibility for the maintenance, operations, and transportation program of the district; • Planning and supervising others; • Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to toxic waste management and risk management concerns; • Operate a variety of vehicular and stationary equipment, including a school bus; • Maintain accurate documentation and fiscal budget; • Serve as safety office for Classified personnel • High School Diploma or equivalent to completion of Twelfth grade required • Associates or Bachelor degree in related field preferred; • California School Bus driver’s license preferred; • California School Bus Trainer certification preferred
