Job Summary

Paraeducator-Classroom (4.2 hrs/day) for ASES program at Winifred Pifer Elementary School. PCN# 2384 In an after-school setting, the classroom paraeducator is under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students; assist in the preparation of instructional materials; provide routine clerical support. Duties will be commensurate with demonstrated ability, training, education and experience.

Education: *High School Graduation or equivalent (required) Must meet one of the following requirements: ~48 semester college units required (provide transcripts) ~Pass District Paraeducator Exam ~Certificate of Proficiency for Instructional Aides (NCLB certificate) ~College Associates degree or higher EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of the general needs and behavior of children. Experience working in an educational setting (desired)
