Under the direction of the Superintendent/designee, this position plans, organizes, controls, implements, and directs the District Transportation Department. Supervision of Operations Supervisor, driver instructors, dispatchers, bus drivers, mechanics, clerical and office personnel.

Minimum Qualifications: Education/Experience: Minimum three (3) years successful public, or public school, transportation experience (5 years preferred), including three (3) years in a supervisory capacity. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation, or related field. Special Requirements: Possession and maintenance of a valid and appropriate California Driver's License during the course of employment; have an acceptable driving record; and must be insurable at standard rates by District's insurance carrier and maintain such insurability during the course of employment.
